# William Sarris: founder, offices and proceedings

- Also known as: Bill Sarris

**Question.** How do Sarris’s corporate roles relate to the proceedings?

**Answer.** The records identify Sarris as founder and former executive, shareholder and plan objector. Criminal and civil allegations remain separate from documented roles.

## Founder, executive and shareholder

- Analysis: Sarris founded Linqto’s earlier financial-technology software business in 2010. The petition-date statement reports a 7% Parent interest and lists him as director and former Liquidshares CEO. Those are dated company disclosures, not a complete ultimate-beneficial-ownership finding; founder status does not establish continued executive authority. [s-d144] [s-d18]
- Analysis: Leadership descriptions differ. Contemporary February and April 2024 announcements name Endoso CEO and Sarris executive chairman, while later restructuring accounts describe Sarris’s succession by Siciliano on January 2, 2025. The retained record does not resolve who exercised ultimate authority throughout the overlapping period. The January 2025 appointment record does not independently establish later continuation. [s-d22] [s-d24] [s-d144]
- Analysis: The proposed April 2024 BCSA combination used a $700 million implied enterprise value, not cash proceeds or an achieved market valuation. That proposed transaction was terminated September 26, 2024; it should not be treated as a completed acquisition or public listing. [s-d22] [s-d65]

## Bankruptcy objections and responses

- Analysis: In January 2026 Sarris challenged the bankruptcy narrative, sought relief involving sealed materials and raised Nikkl conflict and customer-ownership theories. These were his litigation positions, rather than findings that the petitions were invalid or that disclosed interests caused misconduct. The committee defended the General Committee’s authorization and rejected the theory that the plan transferred assets to management. [s-d200] [s-d14] [s-d194] [s-d8]
- Analysis: The committee also disputed his reliance on a true-sale opinion: it said the opinion assumed a sale and distinguished sale from pledge, without establishing actual transfers to valid series. The record establishes exploration of a Nikkl acquisition, not completion. These January objections preceded the separate September criminal indictment. [s-d200] [s-d8] [s-d6]

## Separate criminal and civil status

- Analysis: Federal prosecutors announced Sarris’s criminal charges September 2, 2026. He is presumed innocent. His lawyer Tim Treanor said he would fight the charges and attributed recovery uncertainty to the later bankruptcy; that causal explanation is a defense position. Endoso’s August guilty plea concerns Endoso and does not establish Sarris’s guilt. [s-d14] [s-d194]
- Analysis: The November 17, 2025 amended customer complaint names Sarris among its defendants. The retained A.O.H. Driedijk Holding v. Sarris docket, 1:25-cv-05643, has a last known filing date of October 2, 2026. Naming a defendant and a docket date do not establish liability or a merits outcome. The shared case does not establish business association among the defendants. [s-d146]
