Fewer alerts, each one read
Automated screening returns many possible matches and few real ones. Common names, transliterations and partial dates of birth bury the match that matters among false positives, and a team under pressure starts to clear alerts without reading them. Our AI-assisted system compares every possible match with the identifiers in the record and sets aside those that clearly do not fit, with the reason recorded. An analyst then reviews every match that remains and sends you only the ones that need a decision.
What we screen against
- Sanctions: the UN, EU, UK, US and Hong Kong lists and the other national lists you need, updated as they change.
- Politically exposed persons: current and former office holders, their family members and close associates, among the owners, directors and controllers of the companies you screen.
- Adverse media: reporting on financial crime, corruption and serious misconduct in the languages of your customers, read in context rather than scored by keyword.
- Ownership: for companies, we trace the owners to the ultimate owner and screen each of them, so that a sanctioned person behind a holding company is not missed.
How you send names
Upload a batch and receive the reviewed results within 24 hours, or connect your onboarding system to our API for checks in real time. Customers you keep can stay under monitoring: when a list changes or new reporting appears, an analyst reviews the alert before it reaches you. Screening suits a business checking a handful of new customers a month as well as a bank onboarding thousands.
What each result shows
The identifiers that matched and those that did not, the source of each list entry, the analyst's conclusion and the reasoning behind it. Results are kept as an audit trail you can show your regulator, and you can ask us about any decision.
When a hit is real
A confirmed match on a company's owner or on serious adverse reporting often needs more than a yes or no. We can move it straight into due diligence or an investigation, with the same analysts and the same evidence standards.
