1Linqto board and investigation roles

analysisLinqto announced Reed as director and compensation-committee chair on October 19, 2023, describing him as an early investor. The General Committee named him to the Special Subcommittee with Kutler and Rosenthal on June 3, 2025. The later disclosure statement nevertheless says Reed did not participate in the Independent Investigation, and Kutler did not participate in its new-2025 management phase. Its reported finding of no viable estate claims against defined new management was a limited estate-claims determination. 1 2 3

analysisThe August 2025 interested-parties schedule names the Shawn and Norman Reed Living Trust among current or former shareholders. That trust entry gives neither percentages nor holding dates and does not establish Reed’s personal shareholding. 4

2Separate financial-services career

analysisBinance.US announced Reed as general counsel on December 20, 2021 and described earlier general-counsel work at Onsa, Nanopay, Carta, Ripple and Omgeo, a DTCC managing-director role, and service at the SEC and New York Federal Reserve. Linqto’s October 2023 announcement described him as then interim Binance.US CEO. These dated career accounts do not establish that all earlier offices continued. 1 2

analysisA retained December 2024 excerpt describes Reed, still identified there as interim Binance.US CEO, discussing a proposed early-2025 return of dollar operations after the 2023 suspension amid the SEC case. The excerpt does not allege personal wrongdoing by Reed or establish that the announced resumption occurred; the complete article body was not retained. 3
