1Registered control and junior positions

analysisCompanies House records Raja as Interlend Holdings’ PSC from 31 January 2017. The GLEIF record identifies the same company through number 10593578 and LEI 984500F8FD529DC1B584. The registered identity is distinct from other Interlend-named entities appearing in creditor schedules. 1 2

qualification
Interlend’s registered controller is evidenced separately from its lending role; its £19.9 million Galaktikos exposure is supplied by the receiver report.

analysisGalaktikos’s receiver report records £19,945,572 owed to Interlend as mezzanine and subordinated creditor, with no recovery anticipated for those junior claims. Mercury’s documents likewise identify Interlend in the junior financing structure. Junior funding does not by itself make Interlend the shareholder or legal mortgage owner of either vehicle. 3 4

qualification
Senior recovery was uncertain and no return was expected for Interlend’s junior claims. These were the receivers’ estimates, not completed distributions.

2Funding sources and administration

analysisInterlend’s progress report lists MFS (Funding) as its largest creditor at £58,828,290, alongside about £19.98 million due to other connected parties and further director and trade balances. These are balance-sheet and creditor-schedule relationships; the source does not disclose a named payment trail for every pound advanced into the mortgage vehicles. 1

analysisA secondary account of 2024 equity reports about £6 million of net assets. That measure is smaller than the junior positions but belongs to a different reporting date and accounting scope; it must not be treated as a direct calculation of losses in administration. 2

qualification
The named roles, amounts and dates are reported in retained secondary material rather than established by a directly inspected issuing record.

analysisThe administration report distinguishes estimated unsecured claims of £79,727,371 from five submitted claims totalling £218,956,905. A £168,266,424 investor-group claim was submitted in several connected administrations and was not expected to be admitted without evidence supporting liability in this company. That repeated claim cannot be counted separately as confirmed debt in every estate. 1

outcome
Investor-group claim not expected to be admitted without support; unsecured dividend nevertheless anticipated without an amount.
